An early approach to music and photography leaded me to Llotja Advanced School of Arts and Design of Barcelona in which I graded in Applied Arts on 1996 and where I developed talents for creative thinking and artistic expression. Shortly after I started a ten years period as Creative Director for the agency Renderman, leading the design and multimedia department, being recognized with several nominations and LAUS awards from the Art Directors and Graphic Designers Association ADG-FAD.
In 2006 I co-founded the multidisciplinary studio Andrei Estudi, where I combined the activity as Creative Director for all kind of projects in advertising, graphic design, web design and multimedia, with my personal journey as a photographer and audiovisual creator; producing, directing, filming and editing several commercial and artistic works under the brand Andrei Films.
After exhibiting my photographs internationally I focused in the audiovisual narrative. Starting a long career as Director of Photography as well as Film Editor and working closely with the international Spanish Director Isabel Coixet with whom I gathered some awards as the Spanish Goya for Listening to the Judge Garzón and two Silver Biznagas for the photography and for the film editing of the film Yesterday never ends in the Malaga Film Festival.
As Director of Photography, my palette shapes organic and evocative universes usually inspired by real paintings where I find the energy desired for each scene.
Member of the Catalan Audiovisual Editors Association (AMMAC), I can edit any kind of film or audiovisual project, remotely or inhouse, and with the more convenient system and workflow for the production company (Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro X).
I currently live in the region of La Selva (Girona-Spain) where I have my own editing room to edit remotely but I can move anywhere depending on the production needs.
As an Editor, I combine my expertise in filmic narrative and my artistic talents to immerse into the story, serene and attentive to the emotional states of the characters and their evolution.
